He became an architect to help improve living conditions in urban environments, in particular for those who need it the most. That deep desire for matching human needs and aspirations with the built environment has driven him ever since.

His professional career has spanned roles as both private sector consultant, public servant, development professional and volunteer. Thus providing a wide set of cross-sector competences that he apply in the nexus of architecture, planning and development, and in the service of ASF Denmark. He has a particular interest in sustainable urban development in Sub-Saharan Africa, themed around slum-upgrading and land rights.
