Drafted by the Conseil d’Administration
Revised by the General Assembly

MISSION STATEMENT

ASF MISSION

Architecture Sans Frontières International is an independent network of design not for profit organisations concerned with social justice, the cultural and environmental aspects of architecture and the conservation of the human and physical heritage aspects of the built environment.

Activity Plan 2012-2013

Revised by the Board on the basis of proposals from the group work during the GA meeting. This activity plan of ASF-Int is to be valid from the GA meeting 2012 until the meeting 2013. The proposal is based on the Strategic Plan for 2011-2014, adopted by the GA meeting 2011. One of the important objectives of the Strategic Plan is to build a worldwide network of organisations which focus on development issues.

Activity Report 2012 (EN)

This is the sixth Annual Report since ASF–International was formally constituted in 2007. During 2012 ASF-Int has continued to recruit new members and extended its activities in other ways. Thanks to the generosity of ASF-España a permanent Secretariat has been established in Barcelona. It has worked out procedures for responding to the many requests coming to ASF-Int and carries out a number of tasks which could not be implemented earlier. The important project Development Architecture Education has been launched successfully and is proceeding to its second phase. During the year a newsletter has started to be published. The financial situation continues to be a weak point.

Activity report 2010

This is the fourth Annual Report since ASF–International was constituted in April 2007. During 2010 ASF-Int has continued to consolidate its organization and to recruit new members. We have started to establish a permanent Secretariat that will permit a better coordination between members and we have created a new website which is being updated regularly.

Activity report 2009

This is the third Annual Report since ASF–International was constituted in April 2007. During 2009 ASF-Int has continued to consolidate its organization and to recruit new members. However, we have not succeeded in raising funds to establish a permanent Secretariat that will permit a better coordina-tion between members. The ASF-Int statutes were finally registered formally in Paris.

Activity report 2009 (FR)

Activity report 2008

This is the second Annual Report since ASF-International was constituted in April 2007. Just as the first year, the second year has been characterized by a consolidation process. The Board has worked on the Constitution, plans for a permanent secretariat, and conditions for collaboration with other orga-nisations. We have not succeeded in raising funds to implement some major points of the Activity Plan adopted by the GA meeting in 2008. The Board submits this report on the assumption that mem-bers will understand that all our aims cannot be reached within a short period.

Activity Report 2007

This is the first Annual Report since ASF-International was constituted in April 2007. The first year has been characterized by the desire to consolidate the organization, to work out procedures that are both legally acceptable and flexible for our type of organization, where almost all activities are based on voluntary work. The Board submits this report to the GA meeting confident that members will understand that all our ambitions cannot be reached within a very short period.
