ASFers defy ash clouds to meet in Stockholm
Some 40 members of ASF international gathered in Stockholm in mid-April for the General Assembly and a day of presentations and discussions. In spite of the vulcanic activity on Iceland, architects from Europe, Nepal, Cuba, RD Congo, India, USA and Peru met up to display and discuss several interesting projects during the first day of the event. ASF France and Spain reported from their activities in Haiti and the day ended after 2 lectures focusing on the situation in Hebron, Palestine. The second day comprised the GA meeting and the first meeting of the elected board. On the 3rd day, all participants joined the guided promenades around the city before trying to get back home, some by car.
